Painting Dreams

[Cullen's RSD Girl, Raine]

Kristen sighed as she walked into the new art class. She didn't know much of anyone here, but she knew that they would try to go up against her. With her long blond hair pulled into a pony tail, and she unbuttoned her leather jacket. Everyone looked at her and started to whisper about her. "Great, here we go again." she sighed.

[Golden Sky]

Sky walked in right after a blond girl. The class looked full with people who was unfamiliar to Sky. Her blue eyes scanned the the part of the class that was sitting in desks. All of them saw and stopped what they were doing. They stared at Sky and the blond girl next to her. Sky's critical eyes sweped the class one more time and sat in the second last desk available. The sky was dark out side the window beside Sky. Grey clouds gathered over the green grass and tall green trees out side. Sky dazed off towards the darkening sky.

Kristen looked beside her and then to the rest of the class. "Ain't no one to mess with me." she said. She spotted Angel out side and smiled to her self and walked over to the window with her pad and art supplies. She was bound and set to paint Angel, but she was also going to paint in her boyfriend some how.

Soon after Kiristen had walked to the window, Aarathin and Aaravin were about to walk in. Being half vampires, they should have been in the Night school, but they were half vampires, so they knew how to control their thirst for blood. Aarathin had put a hand on Aaravin's shoulder to steady himself, but all the while he was smiling, since he was having a vision. "Two cute girls. One taken, but I don't think the other is." he said, but Aaravin had just rolled his eyes. "Cousin, stop and leave the girls alone." he said as he pushed the door open and looked around.

[Golden Sky]

Sky's interest was only on nature. The sky its self was more appealing to her than boys where. She dipped her thin, fine brush in a light blue paint can. She had set all her colours out before her, two shades of red, three shades of green and grey, one black and the last was a very light yellow. The light yellow was almost white in what light the sun could give off from the Storm clouds outside.

Sky painted her favorite thing in the world... Lightning. The Storm cloud that she painted was like the one out side the window beside her, only the lightning in Sky's painting was touching down on a tree right out side. Sky ended up adding a small creek running in front of the lightning struck tree. Once finished, Sky looked up from her work and admired it.

Kristen smiled and sighed as she watched everyone around her. Going back to her almost finished painting, she sighed and smiled. She just had to finish Andrew in the picture. "Looks great." she said out loud as she finished and held it back. Angel had a little more brown then he did out of the picture, but she was happy. Andrew was leaning against the gelding with a smile.

Aaravin was just playing around the paints and was making triangels and then coloring them in with differents paint colors. Aarathin was more artistic then Aaravin, since he was always seeing things. He painted a picture of Jenifer. She was his love and Aaravin sighed as he saw the picture.

[Golden Sky]

Sky took another few seconds to take in her painting. She then got up abruptly and packed her paints. She put her brush in a container, the paints now had lids on them, and her canvas with her lightning hitting the tree was put into a plastic bag, same with her brush and her paints. She scanned the room, some people had left and some new people came in. Sky tookn her painting supplies and briskly walked out of the door and into a hall way filled with people. She stuck to the wall, like she always did, and looked at the floor to make sure no eye contact was made. Sky was not a shy girl but she did not like looking up for a reason that was unknown to her. Sky wanted to go away from this place, filled with humans. Humans that had no knowledge of who she really was. Her auburn hair flaired out as she speed walked in the hallway, blue eyes glued to the floor.

Kristen had seen the girl leave and saw a boy follow her. Sighing, Kristen had followed the brunette guy.
Aaravin had watched his cousin walk out after the girl and took off after him. He knew his cousin would be a pain. "Aarathin, don't you dare." he called, making his cousin stop and Kristen got in front of him. "I don't think so." she said as she dropped to the floor and did a swipe at his legs. She was in a hurry to get back with Andrew, but she would still watch out for the new people.

[Golden Sky]

Sky heard something, like people yelling, back in the art classroom. She sniffed the air, it was musty, something only a vampire or an angel would have around them. Humans never noticed this, but Vampires and Angels are really good at hiding their true selves. Unlike Sky, who sometimes makes lightning burst out on someone she does not like. She looked back and saw the Burnett guy standing just inside the door with the blond girl stopping him in front. Sky quickly opened her locker (which was conveniently right there.) and put her paints away. She briskly walked back to the art door and made her self known. "Hello, I could not help but glance at your painting. Its very good." She said to the blond girl at the door then added, "My name is Sky Freeman by the way, whats yours?" The question was towords all of them, even the guy behind the Burnett guy, who looked really uncomfortable. Sky smelled the air around her, the source of the musty air was coming from these three.

Kristen smiled. "I am Kristen and thank you." she said, pulling her hair into the pony tail. As for Aarathin, he just looked up at everyone, more at Kristen who made him fall. "Forgive my cousin, I am Aaravin Charasion and this is my cousin Aarathin Dareacion." he said with a slight bow to Sky. Kristen looked down and said,"Sorry for the yelling, this guy was just being ungentalmenly. And I just can't stand that." Since it was starting to get a little hot in the hall way, Kristen pulled off her leather coat and draped it over her shoulder, a move only a gangster could truely pull off. Everyone had stepped away from Kristen, since they some how knew her past and she just smiled even more. "Mmm..now this i more like it." she whispered.

[Golden Sky]

Sky laughed, more at the fact that Kristen liked everyone away from her than anything else. "Hey Kristen you want to show me around. I'm new and I don't really know anyone all that well. You guys can tag along if you want too." Sky's ocean blue eyes sparkled as she looked from one person to the other. Sky thought for a second. What if one of them is an angel? What if the angel holds a lot agenst demons? Her smile slowly started to dissapper, then she remembered that she has to act like a human with these people. She stuck on the best fake smile that she could muster up. Sky waited she the answer from all three of them.

Kristen nodded. "Sure. You wanna come with me when Andrew comes to pick me up?" she asked. She then looked at the boys, Aarathin mainly though. "And don't get full of yourself, or you'll have a bad fight on your hands." she added. She looked around and smiled as everyone had scattered. "It's almost lunch time, so we can talk there and eat. Most everyone is scared of me since they more then likey know I am not one to mess with." she said. She glanced down the hall and smiled as she saw Mike peek out and then go back in. "There are two teachers that are cool here. Mike Travain and Aaron Tril. And it is said that Raine had gotten them both their jobs. But it is also said that." Kristen leaned in towards Sky. "Mike is said to be king of the demons and some say he isn't. Aaron is a Fallen Angel, born that way. His mother was an Angel and his father is mortal."

[Golden Sky]

Sky looked at Kristen with a staggered look on her face. She had no idea that Kristen knew about whom Sky really was – a Demon – the only thing that mortals would only think of as a ‘myth’ or ‘old truth’ but no. “Okay, sure. Do you mind telling me what you are, just so I know because I am not completely sure yet.” Sky asked finally. Now that her cover was blown she might as well know who she was befriending. She locked eyes with a mortal jock of the school then looked back at Kristen, Arathin and Aravin.

Kristen looked at her. "Your one too?" she asked confused. She then got her stance back. "I am a everyday human, but I am one of those that believes in almost everything when it comes to this kind of stuff. Andrew is human too, and his sister Elizabeth is too, but she has grown stronger though."

[Golden Sky]

Sky did not know what to say, she had just let out her life long secret in less then three seconds. That was not good. What was worse, Sky could have sworn that she sensed the more 'supernatural' peoples. Sky regained her focus. "So, who is...." Sky came to a realization and turned her focus to Aarathin and Aaravin. She knew that one of them had to be... something she did not know what though. The bell for lunch startled Sky half to death. She remembered Kristen's offer for lunch time. "I hope you don't mind Kristen but, I would like to just mingle, you know. I'll see you around sometime?" She turned to leave but then remembered her manners and turned back to wave them 'goodbye'.

Kristen had nodded and waved by, but she just walked to lunch. She sighed and hoped to be with Andrew soon.

Aaravin and Aarathin sighed as they slowly followed Kristen, not knowing anyone.
