Emma, Half and Half

[Golden Sky]

I walked into the Night class room. My brown hair was tied up in a pony tail, my green eyes scanned the classroom. My DC Shoes tapped on the tiled floor. Dark blue jeans covered my pale tan legs and my V neck shirt went a little to far down my chest the it should have. I did not know what to expect in this school. I was a regular grade 10 student, nothing unnatural about me... Other then the fact that I am not human, at all! I took an empty seat and waited until the class started.

Alice walked down the hall, Wearing some tight fitting hot pink skinny jeans that fitted firmly against her tiny legs, Having black knee high boots on that had a few buckles on the sides without heels, And a larger long sleeved sweater, The sleeves falling off her shoulders to expose a thicker strapped white tank top. Her sweater having ruby and black argyle design on the front of it. Her pink and ice blonde hair tied up into a side high ponytail with a black headband that went underneath the ponytail, Pulling her side bangs down, Her bright blue eyes traced with black eyeliner, And her long thick eyelashes spread with black mascara. Her sleeves were pushed up to her elbows, Showing all the tattoo's that went all over her arms down to her wrists, Then some tattoo's on her hands and knuckles. Though she was leaded behind by her cousin, As he grinned wearily- His jet black hair falling into his face easily, Both of them having a strange eerie look to them, But Andy had more of the eerie affect to him. He held his hands in his pockets, His back hunched a little to be more lower to Alice's 5'2" Hight, As he was at.. Well.. 6'9". Taken off to be anorexic in a way, But he wasn't. Just freakishly tall. Obviously Alice didn't get the tallness in the family. She was nudged to the side by him, A creepy grin on his lips. "Would you knock that off? Could you act normal for once?" She asked, Being a siren.. She was more stubborn with guys. Even if they were related. But him being a full demon just pushed her nerves even more. Getting into the class, She had shoved him into the doorframe with ease, A elegant smile on her lips as she walked in. Andy just growling quietly, Having to duck his head to walk into the door. His black colored clothing standing out against Alice's bright clothing. They took a seat by each other- As much as most were here to blend in.. Andy needed the most help. For obvious reasons, He was just.. To creepy to be around humans without them assuming things. His eyes still not showing, But he could see perfectly- His eyes traveled along the students in the class, Before finding a girl with her brown hair tied up into a ponytail, His grin soon faded, As his eyes moved back to the head of the class room, Resting one foot out of his desk to trip one of the guys who walked past, Seeing him drop all of his books and papers. Though no grin showed on his lips. "Whoops." He said, His voice low, With a strong british accent. Alice just sighing, and rested her elbows on the desk, Her chin in her hands.

I saw the whole thing. I did not make eye contact with the creepy guy in dark clothes, but I did see that his smile faded after his head shifted in my direction. He was very tall and he could have gotten away with tripping the innocent boy, but I could see that he ment to do that. I tried To blend in as much as I could, but I clearly needed more practise with the blending in part of things. The class went for a little longer before the teacher dismissed everyone. I stayed for a little while longer, just so that I did not get trampled while I was going out the door. I also wanted to see what the creepy guy and the girl he was with would do.

After the class was dismissed, Alice had stood, Standing up on her chair and grinning as Andy had stood up, Alice still being shorter than him even on a chair. He grabbed her hand, Helping her down gracefully, And twirling her lightly, Both of them chuckling. She soon pulled away, Stepping on his toe on purpose and motioning her eyes over towards the girl who had been the last besides them in the class. "I think she's curious about you." "About me? How so?" He asked, A cheshire grin on his lips as he tilted his head over towards the girl. He had shoved a few desks out of his way- As Alice just rolled her eyes, Sitting down on one of the desks- Watching Andy. He had drifted over towards the girl, The cheshire grin still plastered to his face. He took a look at her for a moment, Before hearing the quiet giggling from Alice. "Hey, I'm Alice. That's Andy." She said, Her head tilted to one side, A cute smile on her lips as she looked over at the girl- Not wanting her to be scared over Andy- Since most people were. Andy soon stopped his observing of her, And looked over at Alice- Before taking a few steps back, Grabbing his small shoulder bag, And flinging it over one shoulder. "I was going to introduce myself." He mumbled, For Alice to just sigh. "You were going to scare her if you haven't already." She said, Seeing the teacher leave the classroom, She had grinned, Swinging her legs as she sat there. Andy had ignored her, Standing by the door, One hand on the wall, His pale slender fingers exposed. "Sorry for his attitude, He doesn't usually find interest in anyone to spend more than two seconds looking at someone. Don't mind him though," She chimed, Hopping off the desk top, And holding her hand out for the girl to shake, A grin on her lips.

I looked up for the first time during class, my Jade green eyes looked majestic and sparkled with happiness as I smiled. I took Alice's hand and got up. "No matter, I've had worse." I said classicly, I had always fancied the more 16th and 17th century english language. I giggled a little then asked, "What are you that you have to come here? I mean, are you part Vampire? Part Demon? What?" My question was aimed at both of them, I could not smell the difference, unlike my friend Sky. I took my hand away and waited for their answer.

Alice grinned at hearing her question, glancing over towards Andy who was leaned against the doorframe, Eyes closed a little tightly. "I'm a siren, Andy a demon. I'm not exactly considered like how demons and vampires are, But who knows what I hide underneath my little sleeves." She said, Quite cutely with a hint of evilness in it. She soon stood off the desk, To be held around the waist by Andy. The two of them always came off to be a couple, Most the time, They liked each other that way that times even, Even though they are half related to one another. She sighed, Resting back against his slender muscled chest. But he said nothing, Looking at her however. "And you are?" He asked, His voice rather deep and low this time, Attempting to put a smile on to her- To be kind.

(Not in the greatest moods, so I guess you could say Emma is having a mood swing)
I looked up at the two, who did really look like a couple to me. "I am Emma, The half Demon Half Vampire." I gave a little smile, but I was not happy that they asked. I hated seeing couples, mostly because I was single... All the time. It bothered me that Alice was more fortune to have a boyfriend then I was. I tried to set that aside, but it kept comming back.

( No problem. Sorry it's been days since I have replied, So busy with the cast on the wrist still, And plus having some family issues that were really getting under my skin.)

Alice could tell something was wrong- Which caught her a bit off guard. Maybe.. It wasn't the best of things for that question to come up. "I'm sorry- I didn't happen to say something di-" She was cut off by a sudden hand over her mouth by Andy, Shaking his head a bit harshly. Sometimes. Alice had a way with people, Especially with being a siren. He examined Emma, Watching her carefully. "Our apologies, Emma. Alice and I mean no offence. And if you were thinking we look like a couple, I believe your thinking wrong. We're cousins." He said, Being able to read her mind pretty easily just by looking into her eyes, A slight grin showing on his lips. But at the same time he said that, He felt Alice leave his arms- Towards the door- smiling. "Next class should start in a few minutes. I suggest you two follow along." And with that said, Alice was down the hall with ease, Causing Andy's temper to boil a bit. "Again. I apologize. Alice is always quite jealous of other girls. May I walk you to your next class?" He asked, Politely, Bowing his head down in a gentleman manner, Offering his arm if she wanted it- Again, Taking after his father with the modern type manners.

(No problem! I'm not on all the time either! I'm not impressed with life right now, so I just come here to cool down!)
I smiled a bit when I heard Alice and Andy were not a couple. I now thought that it was quite nice to have a cousin that close to you. I took Andy's arm, which I thought was really cool that he offered. I had always liked modern mannered men. (Try saying that five times fast! ) I walked out the door with Andy at my side. I wanted to think that we could be friends, but I shook the idea away, knowing that I could hurt myself by thinking of stuff like that. I started thinking about my next class... Protecting land.

(Heh, I do that sometimes too, It's nice to kind of RP out your emotions. ^^ That is, I do that it least. )

Andy had readjusted his shoulders a bit and let his head back up when she accepted his arm, Walking them out to the corridor, The halls filled with buzzing students. It made his skin crawl a bit, He had never been one to like 'Others'. Which was a reason why Alice was the only one that he ever got close to. Telling that she was leading them in a way to the class, He followed with a genuine smile, Watching where they were walking. Obviously her next class was Protecting Land. To say the least, He was a bit impressed. Maybe this girl could end up being a top rank in a land, Of her own or someone elses. "If you don't mind me asking.. Is there a reason why your so.. Quiet?" He asked, His voice hushed so only the two could hear, but loud enough so she could hear over the other student's conversations.

I thought for a moment. I never really thought that I was quiet, just, no as talkitive as other people. "I guess its just becasue I'm shy. I don't really talk to anyone unless I am spoken too." My green eyes scanned his face for a moment to find a reaction. THen my eyes caught a glimps of a random person. I don't know why, but I suddenly took an interest in one of the guys in a group just up ahead of them. I looked down, trying to act like I was just looking around for a moment. Truth was, I was attracted to this guy in a good way. (I don't know if that makes sense but Emma really wants a boyfriend if you have not noticed! )I continued to look at the floor until we passed the group.

Andy nodded softly, Smiling a bit. "Of course, Of course. I suppose I should have thought of that myself." He sighed, But his eyes followed towards where her's would go, Seeing her look at a guy at the group they had just passed- Then her eyes looking to the ground. He felt a little nervous, Yes, But it only kicked on seeing that she was looking at other guys. "You.. Take intrest into that man back there?" He asked quietly, Walking a bit slower- So he could talk a bit with her before getting to her class. "You.. You are single, Correct? And that's why.. You didn't look to happy when I had my arms around, Alice. Wasn't it? You, Want a man to feel affection for you?" He asked- He was blunt, Yes. But he meant no offense, Just trying to understand her best he could. Looking ahead of them, He couldn't help but let a smile curl on his lips, Keeping her somewhat close next to him by their arms linked together. "Why don't you.. Talk to one of those men back there? I'm sure they'd like to get to know such a beautiful woman such as yourself." He said, Speaking the truth, Smiling down at her. So.. Maybe he was a bit jealous about saying this, But he hardly knew her- He wasn't going to show that he had a type of feelings for this lady.

I hardly noticed that I was closer to Andy, or that we slowed our pace. I could only think of an answer for him. I finally answered him with out looking up, "I... I am single... I've been that way for the longest time... I cannot go talk to him because I am not usually comfortable with talking to anyone at all." I paused, then I looked up, flipping my brown hair out of my eyes to show my green eyes. "For some reason I feel more comfortable with you and Alice then anyone else." I admitted that they had been the only two Beings to talk to me all day. I wanted to be friends with them as much as I wanted a boyfriend.

"Your talking to me though." He whispered, Soon stopping, He had looked over his shoulder towards the group of guys, But mainly just looking at the one guy her eyes took a interest in. "But don't you think.. You should date someone.. Who might be more appreciative of your beauty? Not that I'm saying he wouldn't, But, I don't know. I guess I never really 'Dated' before, Since I don't play such silly games unless I know it's the right one for me." He whispered once more, His brightened red eyes looking down at her, A little unsurely. But when she had said she felt comfortable around him and Alice more than anyone, A kind smile showed on his lips, Bowing his head to her politely. "I'm glad that your comfortable around the two of us." He spoke, Chuckling a bit at the end, Loosening his grip a little on her arm so she wasn't so close to him, Not wanting to have the comfortable-ness she had for him to quickly get broke by mistakes of his.

I felt better once he [Andy] let my arm go a little. He was really nice... I thought, but I did not think that we could be anything more then friends because of what he might think of me. "Yeah, I guess I should date someone, but I just don't know if anyone would date me. I'm not like the other girls." I finished by glancing at a group of more pretty girls. The group of girls just walked right passed and straight to the group of guys. My heart sank when I looked behind me to see one of the girls hanging really close to the same guy I was attracted to. I whipped my head back to just look at the floor again. I sighed and noticed that my next classroom was only a few meters away. If he wanted to talk he would either stop me or talk faster.
